While I wasn't actually on the abs diet I tried to eat as much of the power foods as possible. The link was too long to paste. Just Google Abs Diet Powerfoods and you will find it on Mens Health.
I was also limiting my calories to 1800-2000 per day.
I did a majority of my carido on the treadmill. I also did some on the bike. The most effective method for me was High Intensity Intervals I used this on both the treadmill and the bike.

I started at the beginning of the year (08) doing 100% Cardio. About 3 months into it I got serious about my diet and started eating a lot cleaner. I gradually started adding strength training and reducing the amount of cardio. The Cardio was my primary method of burning the fat. Now I'm focusing more on weights in an attempt to add more muscle.
