How I Started:
I was always kind of overweight and I needed both a hobby and a lifestyle. I found that in bodybuilding.
Why I Love It:
I love the feeling of physical exertion. It's an overpowering experience when you go balls-ass in the weightroom.
How I Stay Motivated:
I focus on my goals in both life and shortterm.

So far I've had nothing more than personal milestones, although I hope to compete in a competition of some sort by next year.

Best of luck recovering from the injury. I'm sure you will bounce back. I lost a lot of weight when I lost my job, but I regained most of it back relatively quickly and I am stronger than I was when I was 10-15lbs heavier or so. This new strength training routine rocks.

Also yeah there is a lot of goals, but I guess it is more long term and I want to be at my 'most athletic'.
