When I Started:
Aug, 2001
How I Started:
Playing college basketball really got my strength up by alot. Once I stopped playing basketball my weight sky rocketed from 260 to 320. Now I'm trying my best to get back down to my college weight and still keep the muscle.
Why I Love It:
Its a great stress releiver for me and staying with it helps me see the results of my hardwork and thats what i'm proud of. Plus whenever I stay on a good workout schedule I think i'm more smarter and think alot better.
How I Stay Motivated:
The hard part is starting off and trying your best to make it a routine and then make it a habit. Thats what keeps me motivated is that I've gotten to a point where if I dont work out (unless its an off day) I feel like there is something missing in my day.
BB Accomplishments:
My major accomplishment is how far along i've come on developing my chest. I was really weak at the bench press that was my weakest exercise, in one summer I got my max bench from 225 up to 285 and now my max bench is 335, I hope to get it up to 400. Right now my major weakness is long distance running and that is something that I know has a huge effect on my fat loss and I have weak shoulders, I know if I improve my shoulders i'll definetly raise the weight on the rest of my exercises.
Since I tore my acl and had surgery on my knee, my main focus has been to lose alot of bodyfat that I gained from the surgery and getting my leg back to full strength.
Fat Loss wise: I do cardio 30-45 minutes a day 5-6 days a week, plus the rehab excersices for my knee. I've praticly elimnated all of my carbs, and eat alot of protein. The only time I eat carbs is in the morning or early afternoon and its usually white/brown rice or oatmeal. This plan has really worked for me and I hope to reach a body weight of 280-290 by febuary.

I want to lose fat while maintaining the muscle I have.
Goal (Long):
I want to get back to my college weight between 260-280. This will put less stress on my knee and hopefully I can get back to playing the sport I love ...basketball. Right now my knee can't do squat except for some treadmill and light jogging...hopefully after a few months of getting my legs strong, I can start sprinting and doing harder and more physical cardio to really get the fat burnin.
About a month after passing my PT test, my motivation just dropped. I have been debating on what happened with my motivation and I think I figured it out, Lack of competition. In college and high school I always worked out to be better at basketball and it really paid off for me, but now I...
