I started working out my freshman year of high school to get bigger for football.
Why I Love It:
The accomplishments you can obtain by working hard at the gym and if you dont see results you have nobody to blame but yourself.
How I Stay Motivated:
I thought that getting bigger would make me a better football player. Comming into my senior year football season I was 260 at 33%, I was fat and VERY unhealthy but granted I was pretty hard to move on the football field. After the season was over I dropped 20 pounds and entered college that next year around 220. My freshman year of college I lost 40 pounds and my lowest weight was 182. Im am proud to say that 3 years after highschool I am a lean 195 and look MUCH better then I did back in the day. I am currently attending Umass-Amherst, getting my degree in exercise science. I currently have a NSCA-CPT ceritfication and work as a personal trainer here at school. What really drives me is knowing that there is always someone out there working harder then you are. This past summer I interned at Athletic Evolution is Woburn. This was my first taste of training athletes and I loved every minute. I love reading and learning everything I can about strength & conditioning and it is just the pure pleasure for me to be at gym. I hope to my own gym someday where I can train athletes and make an impact on people and in the S&C community.

I was so close to not putting this picture on here beacuse I hate it so much. But Ive finally accepted the fact that this is who I was and who I never want to be again. I was 260 Lbs at 33% Body Fat and after seeing this picture I knew I needed to change my lifestyle, and get a new hair cut haha
I want to stay as healthy as possible and remain lean and stong, and maybe compete in a few shows or powerlifitng competitions if the time ever comes for it. I am also a natural athlete and always will be, nothing against people who choose otherwise, I just feel that if I am to tell others what to do that I should pratice what I preach
I have recently been doing some type of body weight exercise every morning when I wake up regardless what I worked out or will be working out at the gym. Sometimes we all say away from the basics and try to get to complicated. This change comes after reading Zach Even-Esh’s blog who focuses...

Thanks for your supportive comments. That 700+ dead lift is proving to be a challenge. You have done some serious work in the last couple of years. I have no doubt that you will take this very far!
