How I Started:
1971 Started to build strength for running. Was a distance runner and Cyclist until 1983. From 76 to 83 did all three lifting running and cycling.Then switched to strength training. What I did depended on where I was in the Marines.
Why I Love It:
Release the stress part of my everyday life. The work I do the people I work with and the people I work for would drive me crazy if I did not lift. I love to push myself. Want to get stronger.
How I Stay Motivated:
My mom motivated me to be involved in sports. I am motivated by being able to out lift the younger guys.
BB Accomplishments:
Benching 515 in my 30's at 215 body weight. Bench 600 in my 40's at 300. Benching 605 in my 50's at 270 body weight. Being able to keep getting stronger without drugs.
