By this point I had already been lifting weights on and off for seven years, but I knew very little about proper nutrition, training methods, and was not consistent with my training.  Well, my hair looks better (I think), but my body doesn't. I've lost about eight pounds since late April. From early January to the end of April, I did three workouts a week, never missing one. I'm trying to eat relatively clean nowadays, with an occasional cheat day. This means reducing high-glycemic carbs in the morning (no pancakes, but maybe toast and jam) and especially at other times of the day. Fruit is OK. But carbs in general are being kept to a minimum after evening kicks in....

Now, I try to have smaller meals and shakes, every 2.5-3 hours, trying to get in at least 30g of protein with each. I think as I've gotten older, my metabolism has slowed down as well, which makes gaining a little easier.
