I live for the pump, the rush, the gains you can realize when you follow a sound training and nutrition program.
How I Stay Motivated:
By setting myself short- and long-term goals. No goals = no way to measure progress = boredom and frustration.
BB Accomplishments:
Was 135 lb. skin and bone when I graduated high school. Now weigh a fairly lean 165 lb.

By this point I had already been lifting weights on and off for seven years, but I knew very little about proper nutrition, training methods, and was not consistent with my training.
Well, my hair looks better (I think), but my body doesn't. I've lost about eight pounds since late April. From early January to the end of April, I did three workouts a week, never missing one. Workouts included jogging and weights, and I was taking creatine and amino acids. Looked pretty...
I'm trying to eat relatively clean nowadays, with an occasional cheat day. This means reducing high-glycemic carbs in the morning (no pancakes, but maybe toast and jam) and especially at other times of the day. Fruit is OK. But carbs in general are being kept to a minimum after evening kicks in....
Thanks for stopping by Max. Appreciate your flattering comments. If you're puttin' on weight over there...you must the eatin' the wrong shushi!!!...LOL. Keep in touch, Max...nice to hear from you again...later...geoff
How are things going in Nihon? Since I have been back I have gained about 10 pounds of weight...Mostly muscle! Any new updates for stats? Hopes things are well
Thanks man I appreciate it. I'm gunna put the reason why I lost so much muscle in my bodyblog because it's a long ass story. I think its safe to say youre no longer a toothpick, you've made great progress for sure. PS how do you like Japan, that is my dream vacation.
tried to read you 'nutrition change' blog.. did not show up for some reason.. is that a relaxed pose?
I will check your blog later.. it looks interesting
Now, I try to have smaller meals and shakes, every 2.5-3 hours, trying to get in at least 30g of protein with each. I think as I've gotten older, my metabolism has slowed down as well, which makes gaining a little easier.
