I've recently switched my workouts from a 5x5 to Max OT. I didn't know how I would like working one body part a day, but I found that I enjoy being able to focus more on different parts of the body. I've kept most of the compound lifts in order to keep building strength. Another plus, is...
M, nothing can be better to say, "I know I'm doing what God wants." That, in my books, is better than "I'm lifting more than ever."
School is off to a fast run already. Doesn't take long, does it?
Thanks buddy! I've slacked off my workouts some. I'm usually only hitting the gym twice a week now. I'm finding ways to hit the gym while I'm out instead of wasting gas. You know how it is. May God be with you always!
thanx big_m! been hitting the iron very hard so glad there is some progress. I am particularly hapy with my pecs which has ALWAYS been severely lagging. Have a GREAT day buddy!
A brother on line here was commenting about the summer's we get off, but we know what we have to go through to get to it, right? (Whining? No.) AND you've added to your plate the weight (and joy) of being a shepherd. Don't know how you manage it! I can see an improvement in you, big_m.
Thanks man. I'm doing compound exercises as well with presses and different rows. My goal is to hit 15" and then I'll give them a break and move on to a more chest focused workout. Keep at it!
Well I stopped lifting for 8 months. Started dancing again. Can't do both, bad combo. But now I'm back to just lifting, lol. This time around I'm bulking. Your making good progress! God bless!
That's great about your Squats keep it up! I've switched to a fat loss program. The strength was definatly increasing but I chose to focus in soley on the fat loss for now, instead of hoping to lose fat while increasing strength I'm now doing everyhting I need to to ensure fat loss is the goal I hit. Once I get enough progress where I don't feel like I'm carrying mostly fat, I'll switch back to strength. Thanks for checking in and keep rocking those squats.
