When I Started:
Jun, 2001
How I Started:
i started lifting weights cause of my primary sport basketball. mostly did squats, lunges and plyometrics.
since 2002 I m tryin to switch from strenght training to bulking up, with the main goal to stay lean...havn t gottn that far yet
Why I Love It:
for me, its way more than a sport - its more of a lifestlye to go with. i love working out cause i wanna look healthy n fit - plus i can make some extra money...
How I Stay Motivated:
looking at skinny people, i tell my self i never wanna be skinny again.
i don t need much motivation tho - for me, the hours in the gym is best spent time
BB Accomplishments:
I m not competing - wouldn t have a chance anyways:-)
i m close to 190lbs now, my goal is to go for a solid 200 by the end of 2007. i m tryin to not have any gains in bodyfat and maybe get my 1 RM in benchpressing over the 150kg mark.
EDIT:1/27/2008
gotta update my goals for the new year!
lets see what i could make happen last year.
-get over 200pds without any big gains in bodyfat?
*archived: i m 215pds right now
and BF is stable at 10%
-get over 150kg 1RM in benchpress
*archived: before christmas i tried out for 162,5kg and was able to lift it

Goals 2008:
this year i want to gain again - i m aiming for lean 220 pds by the end of summer. the second half of the year will be shooting for form and seperation - if i can get my benchpress up to 170kg by the end of 08 i would be more than happy.
i m still on the 2-split routine working out 4 times a week.
so far i cant complain about this new program. i could add some meat to my legs and my back - i m tryin to continue the 1 step at a time method till its not working for me anymore. but i realized that step by step...
as mentioned in my blog - i didn t hit the gym in 12 days
right now i m setting up my workout program for the next 2 month. i m still not sure about what program to use
it ll either be a 20 rep squat program or a 5x5 program to start things off for 2007 - i ll keep u up to date
Hey, i appreciate the encouragement. Bodybuilding has quickly become my passion and life. Any tips on dieting and cardio would be great. Good luck on achieving your goals and beyond.
