I toyed with it in high school because a friend of mine was lifting for football, although I never played. Also got tired of being skinny and being called skinny or thin. Seriously started after my 30th birthday as a way to remind myself I'm only as old as I feel.
Why I Love It:
The feeling of power. I have my own set of free weights and my own space to use them, so no waiting. I blast through workouts at my own pace. Plus, I get to eat 4000+ calories a day and have an excuse for it!
How I Stay Motivated:
Seeing results, getting stronger, people noticing!
If being surrounded by females is one of your wildest dreams, you obviously haven't been to my house. Perhaps the odds will even up a bit in January, #3 is on the way!

I would like to get bigger, but I would settle for getting stronger as I continue to lift. The muscle will come, I just have to be patient and stick with it.
Thanks man, I know if you can get a back like that, you shouldn't have much trouble getting your chest growing. Looking forward to seeing the progress shots. Live large and hulk out.
Killer back, traps and arms man. If I could make one suggestion: either you're slouching forward in your photos (stand up straight) or go for some more upper pec mass. The rest of your upper body is pretty amazing; you should get your pecs to match. Good luck!
