I got started bulking up for basketball at Assumption College.
Why I Love It:
Namely, I love the confidence it has provided me. But I also love the personal challenges it provides. There is nothing like competing against yourself.
How I Stay Motivated:
I recall being thin in high school and how I use to feel about my body as motivation to make sure I never feel that way again. To keep moving forward, i set achievable incremental goals.
My ultimate goal is to compete in my first bodybuilding show
Goal (Long):
I want to be 225 pounds with 10% or less body fat. I want to bench 315 for at least two reps. I want to add size and strength to my legs. I want to achieve these goals by my birthday next year, August 31, 2010. After achieving these goals, I would like to begin training and dieting for my first bodybuilding show.
