Overall Goal: I am really enjoying the body transformation. Literally week to week you can see changes that motivate you more and more to keep improving and training.
Fit Status:
Started on an Eliptical and enjoying it. Just don't attempt after a hard leg workout!!!
Managed to dislocate my right sholder 4 times in one week. Had to build muscle around the sholder to help speed healing and prevent another dislocation. Now don't laugh too hard. I started with 1 pound at 3 reps on the right sholder and I was done. It's come a long way!!!
Why I Love It:
It's the best stress reliever I have found. Now that I have friends & co-workers in the gym, it's cooperative stress relief and having a spotter now and then really adds to the gains.
Maybe I'm wired a bit different than others, but I really seem to enjoy the pain that comes with moving large quantities of steel around the room.
How I Stay Motivated:
I have some very stressful days with work & all, the more stressed I am, the more intense the workout gets.(4 hour workout after being told my holidays were cancelled by old employer. Promptly wrote my resignation and changed jobs.)
Seeing others in the gym who are bigger and more ripped is real motivation.
Seeing people both older & younger than I on this site who are in better shape is excellent motivation as well
BB Accomplishments:
I don't think I will ever enter a competition, just enjoy seeing the changes month to month for me is a great accomplishment.

Since I started farming, fear and common sense have never stopped me. God gave us all the same amount of common sense,...some of us just choose to ignore it more than others.
Taken in June of 2008 after the big weight drop, Still not a great site but a big improvement from 270 Lbs. Very little muscle tone if any. Started serious training after seeing this.

Goal (Long):
I would like to keep my weight about where I'm at right now (210 Lbs). Feels a lot better than 270 lbs and a size 40 waist. I would like to replace the existing fat with a lot more muscle. There is a complete family history of heavyweights with expanding belt lines and I've come to the conclusion that I have always been different that my family so why stop there.
WOW. Have been feeling a bit guilty after taking a bit better than a week off to collect my thoughts and get through a busy time here in my life. Getting back in the gym and back into the routine nicely now and have started training harder. Have never been much for cardio but have put my head...
Day 1
Usually the most stressfull 2 days of the week so I give it the most intense workout. Have gone from a flat chest to remarkable amount of muscle in a very short time. It was the area that needed the most improvement.
Good luck with the spring planting, Bevan. Yesterday was our first day of an significant warmth. Brought home two load of timber to cut for next winter, planted some evergreens to rebuild a dying hedgerow, etc. Great day!!
Thanks for the kind words...I'm glad to know I can be an inspiration! Man you're looking great! I've been out of touch here...I'm back and ready to get some results!
Sounds like you've had fun! I've had three shoulder surgeries so far and a possible surgery on my neck in the coming weeks. Don't let it get you down! Just stay at it! Best of Luck!
I bet. What's the count these days? How many days running since you closed your eyes this time. Great avi, Bevan. Delts, pecs, abs, traps--you're doing well. You show 'em out west, buddy.
