24 Hour Fitness 3650 Austin Bluffs Pkwy # 197 Colorado Springs, CO United States
College:
High School:
When I Started:
Sep, 2007
How I Started:
In my younger days, I was a fitness fanatic - track, cross-country, soccer, bodybuilding...then, life got in the way with school, work, and being married.
Now that I am single again, I want to take myself to the next level and finish the goals I set for myself so long ago.
From December 2007 to December 2008 I lost over 100 lbs...in March 2008, I decided to train for bodybuilding competitions to keep the fire alive and to prove it can be done after being what guys politely called "thick"...I hate that word. I want it to be "thick" in the proper definition, not because I am the fat girl.
Why I Love It:
Working out is an addiction - I have to do it daily or I feel myself getting on edge.
The transformation that comes with hard work is amazing. I am starting to finally realize them in myself now even though people tell me all the time...It's getting past my flaws...
How I Stay Motivated:
Hearing the haters say things to me directly thinking I am crazy for how much I work out, how hard I work out, or the people who talk behind my back and I hear about it...that's enough to keep the fire burning. Otherwise, I motivate myself enough.
BB Accomplishments:
In progress, but I will succeed.

berbercitaupdated Fit Status "Didn't eat too much, lifted legs in the morning, and had a great day with friends...now to get back to "get it right, get it tight" mode."
So, I got sick - with basically what the doctor is calling SARS and a possible touch of bronchitis...WTF!?!?! Not now!!! So frustrating and all the medicine just has the scale creeping, I have been trying not to look but I feel so swollen from it - my clothes are not tighter, just that not...
Amber, you are truly pushing the limits! You have done an amazing job! You didn't just trim down...you put on some real muscle. Your legs most noticeable, but all around you have great muscular development. Very impressive!!!
Hey! Aww sorry to hear u have been sick. Luv the 3,000% comment, haha, thats commitment right there my friend! I am doing great and training hard!! Life is good...
My training is getting better and more intense. I have added cardio to now twice a day and thirty minutes each time. That is along with my weight training I am still doing. How are u doing with ur training?
