my brother showed me some stuff and I wanted to be big like him... when I turned eighteen I finally started steadily training. and now I am just as big as my brother.
Why I Love It:
THE PUMP! wow I love the pump.. Its so nice looking in the mirror and feeling tight... but I also love to improve, to get better, bigger, and stronger. And its just nice to look good.
How I Stay Motivated:
Look at Arnold...
BB Accomplishments:
nothin major... but I placed 5thin my first comp in the 2008 NGA Mountain States Highschool Natural Competition, and all the other guys were 30-50 more pounds than me (there werent weight classes for some reason)
Hey, I just did my first competition yesterday, The NGA Mountain States Highschool Natural. I placed fifth, and I got a trophy. There were no weight classes, and I was 30-40 pounds less than the other guys... But whatever. So thanks to everyone who helped me get here, and everyone who...
All Right! You looked really good! Sure you need to bring up the mass in your quads and hams, but you already have some good development in difficult muscle groups like calves and delts. I hope you enjoyed competing. If you decide to continue with bb, and with competing, it's going to be a helluva a build you'll have!
As lean as you seem to stay routinely, I'd keep your prep simple. Both JamerJay and SurferStyle* have "cutting" programs posted, not strictly for competition, but their results are clearly of competition quality. I'd say first time out you're best off following one of their plans of alternating 3 - 5 days low carb with one day of higher carb, plus low impact cardio.
Sorry to be slow responding -- been a busy week. There is a contest prep section on the forums here on bb.com and the plans seem to be pretty sensible. Basically, you're looking to burn fat and drop water so as to reveal the muscle more clearly. Most competitors do some form of "whipsaw" with 3 - 5 days of low carb followed by one day of higher carb.
Yeah, those are all from July..
but they are all i have of my body.
I dont have a camera of my own either so its hard to get decent pictures. and i need a tan. haha
maybe i should take some gross "before" pictures so ones later will look good.
Thanks 4 da add, Ben. You try hiring a Personal Trainer or somewhat like dat? You know, when girls enter da room while I'm working out, I just get so strong of all a sudden. hehehe. Try listening 2 some of yo favorite music. Dat helps.
