"My goal is to have abs like I did when I was 21, but maintain quality muscle and size. I want to have the self confidence that comes with knowing that you look good on the outside, and feel good on the inside."
Growing up, my mom had her own personal training business and she was a certified personal trainer, so she taught me to lift properly. Also, she had tons of books on fitness and working out, which I used to learn new exercises and routines, as well as proper form and technique. I started running in elementary school, and first started lifting weights in 7th or 8th grade on a regular basis.
Why I Love It:
I love to see transformations in my body. I go through a lot of up and down phases with my consistency in going to the gym and staying in shape because of my schedule, but when I am in the gym and staying in shape, I have WAY more confidence in myself and every aspect of my life. I love to feel like I'm in control of my body, my health, and my life. I like that it gives me goals to strive for.
How I Stay Motivated:
Well, since I just relocated to Reno, motivation has been very easy. I don't know anyone here, and have no desire to hit the bars or anything, so I have been spending my free time in the gym. Also, since I am newly single again, that always seems to motivate me a little more to get in shape so that I feel more confident, and desirable, and can attract a higher quality of women. Fat guys and slobs don't usually get the hot chicks lol.

Lots and LOTS of work needed!! My arms have been growing though, since I started getting back in the gym in January. I still would like to look better overall, and need to learn to pose properly to accentuate good points and show progress better.
Just started back on a better diet, so my belly is chubby, but I still look much better than last year.
My goal is to have abs like I did when I was 21, but maintain quality muscle and size. I want to have the self confidence that comes with knowing that you look good on the outside, and feel good on the inside.
Goal (Long):
I would like to have my 6 pack back, and I need to become MUCH more flexible, or I'm going to end up sustaining an injury. I have managed to drop about 40 pounds since January, and now I can't decide if I should try and stay at my current weight, or pack on a little more size again. If I do add mass, I don't want to do it at the expense of my abs, which still need work! I want to increase my strength in all exercises, and really finish my workouts hard and not slack off in the gym, which is something that I occasionally do. I want to improve the quality of all of my muscles and show more definition, and I want to become more strict in regards to my diet and trying to make my progress and lifestyle a lifelong change instead of a short term change just because summer is coming or its a new year. I have yet to accomplish my goal of running a marathon, so I may train for a half marathon this year and see how that goes. I would love to one day train and compete in a triathalon, but that goal is still a long ways away. If I am ever able to transform my physique to a level that I am truly happy with, I wouldn't mind stepping on stage to compete and show off all of my hard work, but I would never do that if I was less than 100%, so that won't be for a very long time.
Why I like this video: The music suits the video, and it has a mix of good oldschool stuff, and newschool Jay Cutler.
BodyBuilding Jay Cutler
Played: 78
Why I like this video: This is an incredible video that shows how hard Jay Cutler works to be where he's at. He'n not just a bodybuilder in the gym, he lives bodybuilding no matter where he is at. It's not just lifting and roids, he eats rights, trains right, does cardio, and has the right attitude and work ethic. He's an icon.
Oh I feel sad this week. I have been under a lot of stress, and having difficulty with a few of my personal relationships, and some people who I thought were my friends have suddenly flipped and are now being rude and unkind. Why am I the bad guy just because I want my friends to be...
I have decided to go back to basics, so to speak. No funky programs or doggcrapp inspired crap or anything else. I am going back to what seemed to work best for me when I was in my early 20's, and if I dont achieve my desired results, I will tweak the program as needed. So anyway.... ...
Well thank you, but I have a ways to go before fantastic! Haha and hopefully not...tooth is doing all better but this knee lol. You're looking great though, keep up the great work!
Thank you for that sweet message, you made my day, and also thank you for the gift of your friendship, I'll treasure it. The secret is safe :) You look like you have made great progress - I am on month 7 of my transformation. If you'd like to know what I do for abs, I'd be happy to share!
