What do you do before your workout to get motivated and energized?
"DO IT." and "JUST DO IT." These quotes speak volumes.

Have you ever had a lifting injury?
Yes
What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
Stretched core muscles. 2 months. I recovered by resting or lifting lighter weights involving the core and changing the workout to focus less on the core.

What is the most common reason that somebody gets injured while lifting?
It seems that improper form or lifting too much weight would be the main reasons for injury while lifting. Or perhaps someone entirely out of shape trying exercises that are complicated.
