How I Started:
I started working out when I was 16. My parents bought membership to the YMCA and the trainer in the gym there showed me how to work out. I have also used the Body for Life technique many times in the past.
Why I Love It:
I love the way I feel when I work out. Although it's hard work the elation you feel after a hard workout is unbeatable. I also have a better body image when I am working out regularly.
How I Stay Motivated:
This is where I struggle! When I am unhappy with my job...or any other major portion of my life I lose focus quickly!
Now that I am getting older I have noticed that it takes a lot more time for my body to bounce back from weight gain. My real goal is to be toned enough to see my abs! I've never had my body fat % below 18...So I'd like to try to do that too. I have a broad understanding of fitness and how to eat properly...but I am starting to believe that I don't actually know what it is my body needs. I'd like to lose at least 20lbs by the end of this year.
