How I Started:
I got started after my youngest daughter turned 1. It was back in the year 2005. I was not happy with my weight and started reading a lot about nutrition and exercise. I have to say it was very challenging due to the amount of information available. However, I just started with my diet and cardio. After a year or a little over a year, I discovered weight training. I have been hooked ever since. It continues to be a learning process and now its part of my life.
Why I Love It:
I love it because is my time, the only time I can celebrate or destress. I love the challenge and when I don't work out I miss it. When I start slacking on my diet, I feel terrible.
I also truly believe is a great positive diverter from other things in life.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by seeing my progress and enjoying my work outs. I also love to stay in touch with others that have the same interest. That always helps as you can relate and understand this lifestyle.
BB Accomplishments:
My greatest accomplishments have been changing my lifestyle to one that is healthier and seeing my girls start to eat healthier and learn from my own experiences. I work full time, go to college part time and I fit time to cook my meal for the week and plan my workouts. All these challenges are also accomplishments. I don't know if I want to compete, right now my main focus is to get to my goals weight and maintain.

Hey woman! I'm not holding up very well right now!! Keep praying for me; I binged today; not all day, but this afternoon. I am sooooo stressed out; my gram is very ill and I can't cope.
That's to funny!!! LOL I did that once before,& went barefoot in the aerobics room and did some body weight stuff!!Yes everyone was staring at me like WTF??Well at least you got to spin!!
I'm doing the typical clean diet, that's not the issue. IT's staying power that is the problem!!! I can do so well for weeks and then BAMMMM...I'm home today with a sick son, so I'm about to go train downstairs at home. I'm determined to stay on track girl; keep in touch with me to hold me accountable!
Danggg...I didn't know you were going! I definately would have met up with you. Next year is right. Glad you're all moved in; I hate moving! How's dieting and training going? I'm trying extremely hard to do a sample contest prep for myself. Pray for me and check in on me from time to time for support.
