I've been into fitness off and on for the past 16 years. I've experience all of the ups and downs that a lot of women go thru. I guess you could call me a classic yo-yo dieter. Well, NO MORE! I am determined to get my body back into fitness competition shape. It may take a while, but I am focused on taking care of me one day at a time.
Why I Love It:
Well, I just remember looking in the mirror when I was at my best shape back in 1999. I saw muscle that I didn't even know existed. The feeling that I had when i went to the gym was a feeling I can't describe. It felt so good to feel my muscles getting stronger. Even the soreness felt good if you know what I mean. The end result is ALWAYS worth the pain!
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated thru personal friends of mine that are either IFBB Pro champions and/or certified personal trainers and also friends that have competed in fitness/bodybuilding competitions. They are such a big inspiration to me! Knowing the hard work that they put in to get themselve looking so awesome and seeing the end result of their efforts simply amazes me! My daughters also motivate me. You know kids are brutally honest at times... and yes... my daughters always ask mommy when we're going back to the gym... and they poke at my belly and well, you know how it goes. LOL!
BB Accomplishments:
back in 1999... i followed BFL and let me tell you... it worked! For the first time in my life I had a 4 pack (Not a 6 pack but it was getting there). Being a mother of 2 (at the time) I couldn't believe that my stomach could look like that. But hard work, determination and dedication got me there! SO... HERE I GO! WATCH OUT!
