i have finally kicked myself into gear and improved. i walked a few miles (didn't want to run because i had sharp pain after the first few steps in my knees and ankles) and then i lifted some, did lots of reps with little weight because i took such a long break. total of about 4 hours...
I stay motivated by weighing myself every morning and seeing a difference and I also have a office that is full of body builders so I get alot of support and alot of advice.
as far as training, doing something is always better than doing nothing! i dont pay as much attention to what i eat, as i do how much i eat. i have taught myself to use portion control, and i eat what i like. for breakfast and lunch i eat bacon egg and cheese wraps that i make on sundays and then take to work for the week. only about 350 calories each! for dinner, i eat whatever my wife makes, but i make sure not to overindulge. that is a struggle sometimes!
great to see you are still hanging around! motivation is difficult, but what keeps me motivated is the fact that i was just tired of being fat! i have an image in my head of what i want to look like, and i wont slow down until i reach it! i know you have what it takes to get it done, so lets do it! get that picture in your head, and keep training until you see it in the mirror! stay strong!
yeah, lots of snow here too, and my gym was closed today! i shoveled snow for four hours, so that was enough cardio! how much snow did you get? we got 16"! thats why it took me four hours! glad to see that you are improvising for the workout at home also, that is proven dedication! stay strong!
happy valentines day! hope you have a great and enjoyable day! and in case you were wondering, no, you should not eat chocolate while on the treadmill! lol
what motivates me, is the fact that i want my wife to think i am hot, and i just plain and simply got tired of being so big. everyone has different motivating factors, its just a matter of finding them! good luck to you, and i know you can do it!
Thanks for the comment on my blog. I do run with my iPod, but there is no music on earth that will make running enjoyable for me! How did you make out today?
