How I Started:
Since it had been 3 years since I had worked out and because of the failures, I enlisted a trainer. I trained with her for 14 weeks, 3 times a week. We worked on strengthening my muscles mostly and changing my eating habits, which were seriously poor.
Why I Love It:
I love the energy I get from a good workout.
How I Stay Motivated:
I keep a picture of me before I started working out nearby. It motivates me to stay on track.
BB Accomplishments:
All of it! I've gained muscles in places I didn't know I could! At 44 it's hard to stay in shape. My biggest accomplishment is watching the fat burn away as I tone. I love it!

When I saw this pic, I knew I needed to loose weight. I felt horrible and with very low self esteem. My goal was to lose 30 lbs.
I'm now at 130 lbs with 5 more to go to reach my goal weight. Next step will be to tone up. I feel great!

Hi! Thanks for the pic rating! Lots of weighted incline crunches with weights and the important part-- clean eating. Its the diet that makes the most impact. Good luck with your training!

Looks like you made all the right choices & are on a very good path leading to a fit lifestyle. Thankfully I've never been into soda, although I love Beer. :-D Haven't bought any in 4 months though, thats an accomplishment. I've been lifting for a while, on/off but this time something is different. Like you, I'm too unemployed & its a great stress reliever. Anyways, happy training.
