How I Started:
I high school I was very involved with sports and a big runner! I got into cycling in college and was very lean. About 18 months ago I starting having heel and foot problems and it got to where I could hardly walk with out pain. I went to a specialist and found that I have plantar fasciitis and a bad heel spur. They haave tried everything and I am still in pain but it is a little better. I have gained 35 pounds and I am not healthy at all. Heart problems run in the family and my doctor has said I need to lose some weight and get back in shape before I have trouble with my health. I want to start with healthy eating and cardio first! But I have an ultimate goal of a total lifestyle change! I have to do this for my health but I want this for myself. For my self-esteem and to be a better person all around. I wanted to get started in December but just wasn't willing to give-up and do the work. I have started now and I WANT THIS BAD! I WILL DO IT!
Why I Love It:
I don't yet! I must say I love the feeling I have after a good hard cardio or weight work out, but I am still a good ways off from loving it!
How I Stay Motivated:
Looking at my self when I get out of the shower. The look my kids give me when we are on the beach or at the pool!
BB Accomplishments:
ONE WEEK of sticking to the plan! I still need a better plan but it is an accomplishment!
