Found this shot from 2006. I was around 176lbs and it wasn't muscle...foof!
Looking a bit thicker I think in the arms and lats. I want to bulk up a bit during the holidays then I will initiate a keto diet as I hit the heavier weights. This is my game plan to cut and gain at the same time.

I am 3 days into my workout and diet. My goal is to get the obligatory 6 pac abs. Looks like my work is cut out for me, especially in the lower abs area.

The fats coming off slowly. A little slower than I would like and I think I am losing a little muscle mass, which I would like to avoid. For week 5 I will increase my protein intake and see if that doesn't jump start me a bit.

Noticeable difference between week 1 and 6. This is the halfway mark for the 12 weeks I've alloted to hit my goal. It's been slow and steady and if it takes more than 12 weeks, so be it. I am goal oriented, not time oriented.

Chest seems so be coming along. Only lost 1/2 %. Down to 12% bodyfat. Weight up a couple pounds, hopefully from the increased weight lifting days (still using light weights until I pull the trigger and join a gym).

I'm a day late posting because St. Paddy's Day was tuesday and I devoured a ton of corned beef, cabbage and potatos and washed them down with Guinness...and I don't feel one bit guilty! Still managed to loose a percentage point of b/f. Down to 11%

Cool vein pop on the arm. Starting today, I am going to try and run a slightly larger caloric deficit. Hopefully this will help speed up the process of eliminating the tough spot of fat around the middle.

I am so psyched...down to single digits...9.3%bf! Two weeks ago I ramped up my cardio intensity (not the time) and it seems to be paying off.

Back from my visit with my brother. We ate well (this is my full tummy pose) and I didn't get many workouts in but I managed to not gain any bodyfat. Time to get back to it. I've got another trip at the end of this week with my daughter to NYC...more temptation! Nice hair, huh?

My first day back at lifting. The tendonitis in the arm feels pretty good today. I managed to drop a percentage point of bf (down to 6.4%)over the last two weeks because of all the cardio I was forced to do. As a result it helped get rid of some of the lingering fat on the lower abs!

I started back in on lateral and forward should raises today by dropping the weight to 15lbs instead of 20lbs to relieve some stress on my left forearm tendonitis. Seems to have worked...had a killer shoulder workout today!

I haven't been happy with my pics lately. The last few seem a bit bloated with water weight. Felt lean this morning so took a shot with my I-Phone first thing in the morning. Liked the way this came out.

If the digital caliper is correct, I hit 5.5% BF today! Weight's the same. I checked it 3 times, but the tape measurements haven't moved too much. If it's true...woo-hoo! Let's see what it says next week.

Just got back from Vegas. Managed to not sabotage myself. Not much progress from last pic, but I expected that because of the trip. Didn't go backwards...which was the main accomplishment.

Not a great weekend for workouts, or diet for that matter. Life got in the way. Had more than my fair share of Guinness watching the Bills lose to Miami on Sunday. That plus crappy eating has left me a little soft.
