Goals:
Main Goal: Transform My Body
Goal (Short): I have decided to set a short term goal of 3 years! It took longer than that to put myself in the place I'm at now!!! Be sure to come back every now and then and check up on me.
Goal (Long): I want to learn to run a 7 to 8 minute mile. I quit smoking last Nov. 2007 because my mother had throat cancer. I have never ran anything in my life. Even in high school I was in the parking lot smoking - not always cigrettes either. I have stopped and started many fitness programs. None of them has ever included running or many other things that most of us hate doing~like pull-ups, push-ups and sit-ups, which I am up to 125-200 per day 5x's a week (the sit-ups). I guess I should note that I made this final fitness life change on Jan. 4, 2008 and I starting a 5K training program on March 3, 2008 and I can now run/jog 3 miles in 36 minutes, that's a good starting point, right??. Oh well~YEA ME!! I also lift 4-6 days per week too. I guess I will have to decide if I'm going to be a runner or lift iron! I don't think I have ever seen a sucessful marathon runner who also lifts to be a body builder. Hummm....Well anyways for now I feel very high and well balanced on the program I have been doing since Jan. I am still working on clean eating for life (just so confusing but I am learning) I just keep pushing myself and telling people my story!!!

I think protein is a personal preference depending on your goals. I use Whey Isloate immediately after a workout. I drink Whey Casein at night before bed. I drink Whey protein during the day as a meal...more

Just got back from camping - wow, what a blast!- I have never had so much energy ever in my life!

I owe it all to my workout program and adding the running into it. We did one 5-8 mile hike a day with one or two 2-3 mile hikes a day too.

I had so much fun with friends and all the kids....

LOL ok standing in the mirror may defiantely work for me. I am back at it cause I bought some new outfits and made sure they were a couple sizes too small. If I want to wear them I have no choice!

Your looking pretty good! I haven't been doing dealifts for a while..but i am thinking about getting back into powerlifting..I miss lifting heavier than the guys. I have went off track with my dieting and gained some weight back so the tummy situation still sucks! Looking for the moto to get back into it.

You have done a super job to this point & if you wish to get rid of more bodyfat & also get into great shape I suggest you check out the 12 week Body for Life program. It's a complete body transformation program that gives you a great nutrition plan as well as weightlifting & cardio routines. My wife (bodyspace: judimax) went from a size 12/14 to a 4/6 & I lost over 50 lbs going from 36 to 10% bodyfat in just 12 weeks with the BFL program. Let us know if you would like more info.
