Typical story: super skinny kid growing up. Got teased about it here and there but it didn't really bother me that much. Then I just decided to give lifting weights a try and wanted to put on some weight.
Why I Love It:
It's my time. I go in there with my headphones on and do my workout. I don't talk to people, I don't bring my phone in...there's not the distractions of the outside world. I try to forget about all the stuff that I have to deal with and just focus on moving the weight.
How I Stay Motivated:
Myself. I didn't start doing this out of vanity or for the ladies. I did it because I got tired of being scrawny and weak. I just look at myself and know that I'm never satisfied.

I want to be 245 and be able to bench 1.5x my bodyweight, squat 2x my bodyweight, and pull 3x my bodyweight.
Goal (Long):
I'd like to weigh in at about 245 with not too high of bodyfat. Obviously get as strong as possible. And bring up my lagging body parts (specifically, my arms).
Inflated numbers. I see it with measurements, but I see it more with lifting stats. Not just here, but on other sites/forums as well. I don't have the best measurements by far or the best lifting stats, but they're honest and real and I try to keep them up to date. I see posts from so many...
