My Workout Philosophy View My Full Workout Program

My Workout Program

With the combination of my schedule and my workout partners' schedules we cannot be set on a specific workout schedule, but we try to stick to this as much as we can.

Monday:
Legs - Squats, 4 sets: 14,12,10,8
Calf Raises, 3 sets of 30 (optional with weights)
*Soon will be adding hamstring curls.*
Abs - P90Xs Ab Ripper or routines found in fitness mags

Tuesday:
Chest - Barbell Bench Press, 3-4 sets: 8,8,10
Dumbell Flies, 3 3 sets: 8,8,10
Incline Bench Press, 3 sets: 8,8,10
Cardio - 20 total mins: Begin 3 min walk, then alternate between 1 min jog, 1 min run. 3 min cool down walk.

Wednesday:
Back - Bent Barbell Rows, 3 sets: 8,8,10
Shrugs, 3 sets: 10,10,10
Lat Pulldowns, 3 sets: 10,10,12
"Lawn Mowers", 3 sets: 12,10,10
Seated Cable Rows, 3 sets: 12,10,8
Abs - P90Xs Ab Ripper or a routine found in fitness mags

Thursday:
Shoulders - Barbell Military Press, 3 sets: 8,8,10
Front Plate Raises, 3 sets: 10,10,8
Reverse Flies, 3 sets: 10,10,8
Side Raises, 3 sets: 12,10,10
Cable Shoulder Crossovers, 3 sets: 10,12,15
Cardio - 20 total mins: Begin 3 min walk, then alternate between 1 min jog, 1 min run. 3 min cool down walk.

Friday:
Misc. Day - Core Synergistics or KenpoX from P90X
and
Ab Ripper from P90X or a routine found in fitness mags

Saturday:
Arms - EZ Bar Curls, 4 sets: 6,6,8 with a burnout set
Seated Dumbell Curls, 4 sets: 8,8,10 with burnout set
Preacher Curls, 4 sets: 10,12,15 with burnout set
Close Grip Bench Press, 4 sets: 8,8,10 with burnout
Overhead Tricep Ext, 4 sets: 8,8,10 with burnout
Tricep Cable Ext, 4 sets: 10,12,15 with burnout
(Lie on back on bench, with hand
opposite cable machine grab cable.
raise arm so it is perpendicular
with body and bend elbow towards
cable machine. Extend arm so it is
perpendicular with body again.)
*Soon this arm workout will change*
Cardio - 20 total mins: Begin 3 min walk, then alternate between 1 min jog, 1 min run. 3 min cool down walk.
