When I Started:
Jan, 2006
How I Started:
Initially to get fitter for Gaelic Football and Hurling, cardio, then started doing weights with friends, have noticed the difference now in my strength on the pitch, never have the time to progress majorly in my weight lifting due to training with the team, manage to improve in pre season then dont have the time to hit the weights as much!
Why I Love It:
Feel alot more better about myself and much more fitter on the pitch, really enjoy my sports when i am fit and strong!
How I Stay Motivated:
By up and coming games that i have! Also by friends dragging me to the gym!
BB Accomplishments:
Increasing my bench press to 3 sets of 6 reps of 80KGs during pre season! Was stuck at 60kgs for ages, can do 60 now no problem! am at about 3 sets of 10 on 70kg now but struggle on my last set.
