How I Started:
I first learned the advantages of working out in 7th grade for football. 8th grade it became a little more experimenting, but once freshman year in high school hit I was lifting 3 days a week. Since high school I've taken the strength training routine and tried to transform it into more of a bodybuilding workout. Either way, you gotta do both to make maximal gains.
Why I Love It:
I've always been a big sports nut and to me working out just just another sport that I really enjoy. It helps keep me motivated to see others having success. It also helps me realize I can make it to the level that some people are achieving.
How I Stay Motivated:
Summer time is horrible for me with trying to get into the gym. I love getting outside and playing some golf and getting on the lake/river. Boating with family and friends is a new love of mine. Getting in the gym hardcore during the cold Minnesota months just helps the appearence.
BB Accomplishments:
No accomplishments. I do this because it is fun and I enjoy it. I don't ever plan to compete. I get the satisfaction of knowing I work hard to keep myself healthy.

Goal (Long):
I joined bodyspace for the sole purpose of comparing myself to others as well as finding those that have made it to where I want to be. I've seen short term and long term goals in photos and weight people can lift. I take pride in being one of the littler guys in the gym is is very lean and strong as hell. I get a kick out of having people 50lbs heavier then me spotting me doing the same weights as them on certain lifts. Going into 2010 I expect to weigh 160, and my goal for next year is 170. I don't want to be the little guy anymore, so one step at a time I'd like to change that.

If anyone has any advice for me on this I'd appreciate the help. Basically I have a really hard time gaining weight so I avoid "all" cardio. The only cardio I get in the gym is if I maybe give myself less rest between sets. I've already got a low bodyfat, but for some reason I'm...
thnx for the add and the comment bro, congrats on ur gains..you can achieve the look you want man..trust me..its been a tough battle..but i learned that bulking(getting fat) 1st made it alot easier than adding lean mass.
