How I Started:
I was on the couch eating chips & having a pop when my dad came home with a weight bench he picked up second hand along with weights. Also, when I started high school & was tired of being picked on because of my weight.
Why I Love It:
The pleasure, the pump & the pain. Knowing you've hit a brick wall & all you do is knock it down instead of staying still. "Hope deffered makes the heart sick, but a desire fulfilled is a tree of life." Proverbs 13:12
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by knowing that I am only trying to better myself. Seeing progress pictures each week is very encouraging to push harder the next week. "Strength does not come from winning. BB Accomplishments:
-In 2003 I weighted 310lbs & 5 years later I've dropped 100lbs & ran a 6 minute mile.

During your 5 year Transform, when did you really kick it into gear? I was 305 in 2006, lost weight just being away from college and adding exercising (not very consistent). Now, 2009, changed eating life and kicked my workouts into high gear, and seeing some good results already. Any advice on how you did it? How long?
