Overall Goal: I've always been a little guy (thin); thought I'd give it a serious shot and see what I can do. Hey, it's never too late to be what ya could've been! :)
I started back working out about a year ago. I've done cardio off and on all of 2007 and really steady since October of that year. I have recently found a weight trianing partner and have been lifting again since February 4, '08.
Why I Love It:
I love the way it makes me feel. Hopefully, someday I can say I love the way it makes me look, too.
How I Stay Motivated:
It's still early in the game for me, so motivation is not a factor at this point. I'm seeing some good gains in my body weight and the weight that I'm lifting, so that's been doin' it for me so far.
BB Accomplishments:
Umm... I worked out this morning

What baretta Is Up To:
Oct 6, 2009
baretta changed Body Fat from 13% to 11%, a loss of 2 percentage points in 38 days
This was 1 month after starting in the gym. I wish I would have taken a side shot as well... I looked pregnant... lol
After a year and a half. I worked out steady for about 9 months, but then started smoking again and quit for about 5 months. I've been going steady since March 09. This photo was taken on Sept 3, 2009. Still holding some weight from my perpetual bulk... lol.

I'm close to the same age he was when he started his transformation. He keeps reminding me that it's not too late to change if I really want it!!! You rock Supe!!!
Yah, I think I am making the most progress in my chest..I had to post contest pics which I hate, bad lighting, bad time of day, bad hair..oh well, they are supposed to be before pics..right??!! HA!
Thanks for the reps! I just never saw the point of not using your actual food intake to figure your calorie requirements. It just always seemed like a no-brainer to me!
Welcome to lifting! So you're a drug/alcohol counselor eh? Both of those are vices that I avoid by working out and eating healthy. The better I feel, the less I want to f*** it up by being stupid! Good luck.
