My abs are finally feeling good. Probably 90-95%. I'm going to start doing the ab ripper x again starting this weekend. I'm going to start training to do a planche pushup, I'm going to have to strengthen my core and shoulders big time.
When I was learning to do them I was just dong body weight exercises and when I achieved a planche. I want to push my physique aestheticly so I usually did them before weighted training. Planches required my full energy before I even considered hitting the gym.
Thanks. Planches require a lot of different muscle groups in order to perform. They require a lot of shoulder, chest, tricep, abdominal, lat, lower back, and even leg strength to hold. Each muscle group plays a part in maintaining and pushing yourself in the movement.
Thanks bro! Still trying even everything out right now...my quads and hams are growing fast but I am working hard to get my calves to catch up lol. How's the recovery and progress going? Hope you are well and healthy!
Ah, man that sucks! I hope you have speedy and full recovery. I feel like even with all the training that I am doing now...I need that weight vest to up the anty! Thanks for the encouraging words and I will be on here a lot more often now that I am grounded.
What ab work were you doing before your injury? That is, do you think it was due to weak abs or you just pulled wrong? (A lot of people do a lot of ab work, thinking that helps with getting them to show.) I was working on my log sheets this morning. Figuring out what I'll be doing in the next cycle. Have a great weekend, resting your abs ;-)
Yeah, bro thanks a lot. I have been with out the weight vest for too long lol. I know that I will progress pretty fast in speed and endurance when I get back into it. How are things going on your end?
A second leg day may lead to overtraining. Depends on what you can tolerate. Cutting back on running would be another option, but also depends on your priorities.
