How I Started:
I've danced for most of my life (ballet, jazz, lyrical, hiphop, polynesian, etc etc) but recently stopped to finish my physics degree. I was a sprinter for most of my life as well. In the last year (my senior year of my degree) i did little to no exercise..now I'm trying to recify that :)
Why I Love It:
Because even when I want to be in a bad mood, I can't when i work out. Damn endorphins :)
How I Stay Motivated:
My trouble spot is staying motivated but I'm finding lots of motivation from a few close friends. Plus, I want to look better and feel better more than I want to stay the same!

blahhhhh. glad this is a before pic. im excited for the 'after' :)
I want to overhaul the shape of my waist. Get some back muscles damnit, and show the ones that are lurking underneath :)
Goal (Long):
My main problem area is my stomach. When I gain weight it goes directly to my stomach and (sadly) not to my ass where I would kill for it to be :). I find that my arms have always been toned but I need more definition in my arms and legs. And I would finally like to focus on my lower back muscles, as i find since i've stopped ballet they've become weak and my posture is affected.
How am I going to achieve this? Hell if i know right now, but I'm learning and remembering all the things I used to do to get results (rubber bands/resistance training) and I'm going to start there...I'm always willing to try something new, and open to sugguestions
I was feeling horrible before today's workout (life stress) but it really did help me feel better.
Stuck to the agenda, realised that the amount of 60 mins ellipticals i made on my program was a tad bit excessive and slightly unrealistic. So I cut 2 out for...
Thanks. Honestly, I read lots of magazines and follow their workouts. I workout at home six days per week, lift weights three and cardio three to four. The only weights I work with are 15 and 20 pound dumbbells and a bar with 60 pounds on it. I guess it's working for me. Your progress looks great, just a little blurry but I can see you're doing a great job!!!
