How I Started:
Was going threw the Fire Academy and I didn't want to fail. So I started working out to acheive my goals. I started reading Arnolds Encylopedia, EVERYDAY!!!
Why I Love It:
I like the interaction with people. The way it makes you feel after a good training session. The eating more food afterwards. I remember seeing Pumping Iron for the first time and I liked how they were having fun, but working hard at the same time. So I always try to keep the tradition going!!
How I Stay Motivated:
I do 20 reps of every excercise. I like working out next to people and they are doing 10 reps with the same weight and I'm doing 20's. Man o Man that keeps me going.
Why I like this video: This is one of the leg workouts I learned from Bonny Priest's Gym here in town. Every thinks they are strong, but few truly are!!! I'm on 8 plates for 20 rep 4 sets. I'm on my way up.
Always warm up!
Pick a weight you struggle with between (12-20 reps).
If it's easy go up about 5-15 pounds and try again.
Remember its just the beginning so pace your self.
If you get to 15-20 and really struggle
Keep that same weight and do 3-4 sets of 20 reps.
