How I Started:
I simply got tired of being a young newly mother w/ a body that I had to cover up because I was embarrased of. I've always been athletic till I had my children, but those times are gone now and I'm proud of the body that I've created through weights
Why I Love It:
Its my drug that I can't get enough of, I love the feeling I get after each workout...like I accomplished something good for myself, and myself only!
How I Stay Motivated:
My one and only husband, he is my rock when times get tough, he pushes me when I don't want to go on during prep, and my 2 kids are right beside him helping him help me every step of the way:)
BB Accomplishments:
Getting up at 3:50AM for my cardio session... very proud of that accomplishment:)
1)Getting 1st place in the Fort Lewis BBing/Figure Championships
2) 5TH PLACE at the Washington state Ironman out of 14 girls.

This was my latest competition, not as lean as I wanted but I am working to improve, this is my journey:)
Oh no, Vanessa...Georgia by Christmas? Ah well, it's military life...:) Thought I would shake ur hand @ the E-Cup. No doubt you'll garner much success there looking as gorgeous and fit as u do. And that Ironman posing suit is a profile avi begging to be seen...lol!
I hope they give you constructive feedback. That 2-piece posing suit was incredible. Did u design that? And muchos compliments on your figure...you owned the stage looking very taut and toned. U taking time off now?
Congrats on your placing, Vanessa. I'm sure you looked more than wonderful on stage. Were there any pointers given by judges post-comp? Regardless, u're an inspiring and stunning beauty.
Your back is ripped, love the avi. I can't wait to see the rest of the pic's. I hear ya on rest, I had to too, hurnia surery acts up every now and then too. Again...wow, your back looks amazing.
Well, you do look great my dear, and I know what you mean about the rush. I am excited for you as wel. The Arnolds are in March, I will get in gear for that starting this week. I wish all the best, go get'em.
