Actually I've been lifting on and off to get bigger since I was in the 6th grade which was in the late 80's. I'm now in complete "go" mode to keep it up.
I always wanted to be like the bigger guys at school, so now even though I'm stuck at 5'5" I still want to be as big as guys at 6'0".
Why I Love It:
I love it because it gives a feeling of accomplishment....especially when I have those days of surpassing what I saw as my limit. Pushing my body for that last rep or extra set.
Also, the feeling of my body changing.....knowing that I'm the one molding it to where I want it to be.
Finally....I just want to make all the gay boys look....and take home the men! Just cause I'm gay doesn't make me less of a man.
How I Stay Motivated:
While in the gym, I keep my music going to keep me pumped.
As for those days when I really don't have the motivation to go....well lately it's just a quick flex of the new muscle that I've added gets my butt back into the gym. The only way I can grow is I have to keep it up.
Got my arms up to 16" goal is 18" with a body weight of 205. At 5'5" that should be a good size.
Goal (Long):
I've been fighting my body fat percent all my life and now that I'm turning 30 I'm working to get it down as low as possible.
My ideal weight would be 215 to 220 with about 10 to 12 % body fat. If my weight is higher that would be even better.
Something about Mighty Mouse has done this to me....lol.
So Wednesday was the first time I went to work out first thing in the morning. Well not to early, I had a schedule change so now instead of working out late evenings, I can be working out by 8 am.
So I went and started on the cross trainer. Well I didn't realize how hard it is to jump start...
