I'm fighting the fact that i was always the chubby kid growing up.
Goal (Long):
I am hoping to be able to not be ashamed to take my shirt off at the beach next summer and attract good attention (not looks of horror). I am also hoping to better my stamina to be able to play a game of volleyball or soccer with my friends rather than sit on the sidelines, watching. It may sound funny, but i'd like my stomach not to jiggle when i brush my teeth (it's all about baby steps right?). I just want to look and feel better, not necessarily be a certain weight, or huge and ripped, just comfortable in my own skin.
First, I want to say thank you to the people who have been supportive in my process of quitting smoking. Secondly, I want to apologize for letting any of them down by back sliding a few days ago. I was driving home after work and was thinking to myself "turn right and you can make it home,...
well thank you kindly =) i have some work left to do b4 i'm where i'd like to be but i guess that's what keeps us going, right? =) hope you have a great holiday weekend
What I like about Body for Life is that it includes what I call the “Holy Trinity of Fitness,” which is a great nutrition plan, weightlifting and cardio. They also include a built in “cheat” day where you can eat anything you wish and so you get a chance to satisfy any cravings without feeling that you are failing the program. Let me know what you think.
A great way to reach the shape you want is by following the Body for Life program. My wife (bodyspace: judimax) went from size 12/14 to 4/6 and I lost over 50 lb’s and went from 36% to 10% bodyfat during the 12-week program. I suggest you give it a look-see and decide what you think. I believe that by using their proven nutrition, weightlifting & cardio program you will be amazed at the changes that your body will make. Let me know if you wish more info.
Good Morning, We are having a FREE weight loss seminar on February 5th in Marysville. It will be at the High school. It is at 6:00 pm. If you know any one who might be interested. I have posted a flier on my page. Hope you have a great New Years!!
Way to go. I wish you much success in your quest to get fit. Continually challenge yourself. Combine weight lifting, some form of cardio and a good nutrition plan and you will be amazed at the changes and the speed at which they can occur. Stay strong and believe in yourself and what you can accomplish.
