yeah, my birthday IS coming up ;) i've been good, thanks. working for myself now, so it's been easier to hit the gym consistently. been getting my strength up quite a bit :)

Yes! She is much better thanks for asking. In fact, she's getting back into working out and just started her own bodyspace account too :] I'll have to try the 20 rep workout sometime. 5x5 is working out well for the time being so I'll stick to it until I plateau, then try out your program. How are things with you? You're looking awesome as usual!

HS! Whatsup brother? Thanks for checking in. I had to take a short break from my workouts because of work and to take care of my lady (she had some health problems we had to take care of). But as of Sunday I'm back and ready to kick some ass :] Haven't tried front squats again since we first talked. Can't get the technique right, man! I did regular squats yesterday, though. Doing 5x5 right now. Are you still doing the 20-rep workout?

i haven't tried the 20 rep thing, but, you know what...why not? i'll give it a go next week. should i just do 1 set of 20 on the squats and then proceed with the rest of my leg workout or do the same for all of my lifts (leg press, leg curl, calves) and yes, i was born on halloween :)

Quads are definitely feeling it. Eager to go back in there and throw more weight on the bar. I think my delts will get used to the feeling. Hope you are having a good week!

did my front squats last night. four sets. i almost threw in the towel after the first set because my delts hurt from the bar on them. but then i decide to just wrap the bar in one of those foam sleeves...problem solved! i was able to do the next three sets with no pain and worked me legs really well. it's amazing how much harder full-range front squats are than regular squats.
