How I Started:
I was always an athlete growing up but once sports stopped I gained weight because I wasn't doing anything! I started working out consistently in May 08 because I was unhappy with my body and life is TOO SHORT to be uncomfortable in your own skin. I started to lift and eat small balanced meal throughout my day and just watched my body transform and lose fat...25lbs of it!
Why I Love It:
Working out gives me confidence to do so many other things in my life, it's my wake up call in the morning during a good cardio session and stress relief at the end of the day when I pick up some weights! I love it!!
How I Stay Motivated:
My body keeps me motivated! I know how I use to look and to avoid going backwards I have to take care of myself everyday with proper nutrition and exercise! I love seeing how weights combined with the right nutrition plan sculpts and molds my body! If i eat crap, I look like crap. If I eat clean and tight, my body stays jiggle free :)

Losing 25lbs of fat in 6 months the RIGHT way :)

I am known to everyone at work at the health nut and I love it! They have seen my transformation take place and no longer make fun of me when I bust out my tupperware every few hours :) I am proof that consistent clean eating & training yields results. What are your secrets for making healthy food taste great?

Where do you find healthy recipes to try?
I'm a very busy person so when I first started eating clean I just took one thing from each food group and bam! a meal is made ... like quinoa, tuna, olive oil, mix veggies, black pepper and salsa! or beans, chicken, almonds on top of mixed veggies, for breakfast most days it oatmeal w/ flaxseed and bee pollan, berries & egg whites ... like i said, as long as portions are weighed and measured I just kinda throw things together for each food group with some sort of spice and extra (i.e. mustard, balsamic vinegar, salsa)
