How I Started:
When i was in high school i took at class called BFS. It consisted of resistance training, cardio and circuits. I was in the best shape ever at the time, but when i went to college my activity level went wayyyyy down. Now its time to get back to it and bring back the person that i was comfortable being.
Why I Love It:
It gives me a rush and the pain i get from it lets me know that im putting in some serious work.
How I Stay Motivated:
By looking at people at the gym and everyone on bodybuilding.com
For the past 2 to 3 years i have been trying to lose some weight but have not had the motivation at all to do so. Well i definitely had a wake up call one day and just said to myself that it was time to get your life in order. Not only my physical health, but my mental health and financial situation. I have adopted discipline and i am now motivated to take on each obstacle that i have to travel through. I give myself until January 1st 2010 to reach my goal.
One of the greatest quotes I've heard on this site was from sweeth4796, "Motivation often FOLLOWS action, not precede it." You have all the tools plus you know how it feels to be in good shape. It's all about execution now. You will be fine, this I know. Just go git it! Good luck.
To burn fat look up Fartlic (I think that is how you spell it). Do your cardio first thing in the morning to get the best results.You are working your body so hard that it goes to a different level of fat to burn it.Cut the carbs after 3 pm. It seems to work for me. Good luck!!!
