How I Started:
Actually, I used to work out all the time years ago. But like most, when career, family, and all that goes with it kicked-in I became distracted and got away from something I really enjoyed doing.
Why I Love It:
I remember as a kid being quite inspired by people who were into bodybuilding. To me, I had always looked at it as an art form...sculpture. Bodybuilding to me was the same thing, continually working and sculpting until they achieved the goals they set for their personal physique.
How I Stay Motivated:
I remain pretty motivated by the gains I have made already. By sticking with it, trying different things with both nutrition and technique, I have managed to see good progress...so much so, that I have taken my training to a consistency and intensity that I had never previously achieved.

I want to add good, lean muscle mass while also lowering my body fat percentage to a level I am happy with.
Goal (Long):
I have been interested in bodybuilding most of my life because I always viewed the effort that goes into it as an art form...like sculpture. Up till recently however, the effort (like many who get busy with life) fell so far down my list of priorities, it got away from me. The 300 movie sort of inspired me to start again to simply see if I could do the 300 workout. Once I achieved that goal though, I found out right away that I wanted to raise the bar and get back into bodybuilding again, not just to meet my own personal goals, but to set an example to my friends and family, and hopefully help or inspire others to go after their goals too.
