Push yourself and lift heavy stuff
I have a lot of people ask me what my training split looks like so here it is. It has taken me a few years to set up my current split. Since I'm a competitve strongman I've had to modify things to fit me needs to be successful in the sport. I do a very modified 5/3/1, olympic lifting program.
Rev. Grip Lat-Pulldowns
Power Cleans/Snatch (alternate each week)
One arm DB Clean and Press/Snatch (Alternate each week)
Deficit Deadlifts or Rack Pulls
Close-grip bench or Floor press
Saturday or Sunday:
Strongman Event training, I usually do 3 to 4 events and alternate each week unless I'm prepping for a contest.
