How I Started:
summer 2007 i started running. i weighed about 170 pounds and looked like a little butterball. I was out of shape but i kept at it. I kept running weekly with slow and steady results, but the real breakthrough came when i decided to join my school's wrestling team. they worked my ass off and in two months i had dropped 30 pounds of fat which was good, but now i just looked skinny and weak. so i decided to start bodybuilding. I quit the wrestling team because it was too time consuming and was interfering with my school work. i continued focusing on school but still doing what i could with my curling bar and a few dumbells at home. Then summer 2008 i got a gym membership at LA fitness which helped me put on about 20 pounds of muscle over summer. I also enrolled in a weightraining class at my school so i workout about 45 minutes a day in school then go to the gym on weekends. This packed on about another 10 pounds. i was now back at 170 lbs but looking good and with a body fat %of 13%
Why I Love It:
It keeps me happy. no matter what stresses i have on my mind as soon as i get in that gym and hit the weights, everything goes away. bliss.
How I Stay Motivated:
i have this image in my head of what i think is a perfect body, with my face on it. step by step i am trying to make that image reality.
BB Accomplishments:
losing 30 pounds in two months (wrestled november and december 2007). then gaining it back in muscle (summer 2008-present)

taken during summer of 2008. i had just finished wrestling and ha djust started lifting bitch-weight. probably about 18% body fat right here. this pic is a joke compared to now but still not as bad as the eyar before then when i was very fat
mate,genaral wrist/grip strength should encrease through your lifting anyway. all the heavy compound stuff will work.but for more do loads of wrist curls with a barbell! front and reverse!
