Overall Goal: Finished my '09 Figure season. Took home 3rd in INBF and 1st in Muscle Mania! Now I'm undergoing another body transformation - into Motherhood ;)
Fit Status:
maintaining my physique during my 1st pregnancy
I started lifting weights in college after meeting my husband. He helped me overcome my fear of the weight room. We now own a gym and I train for figure competitions.
Why I Love It:
It's a difficult challenge I endure every day because I love the way it makes me look and feel.
How I Stay Motivated:
I work in a gym - You can't sell fitness if you look like a fat slob ;) Competing, tracking my goals, reading fitness magazines, talking about my goals with my husband and friends, looking in the mirror, hearing praise from others and the bathroom scale are all STRONG motivators for me.
BB Accomplishments:
NPC Heart of Texas - 3rd place
NPC Lackland Classic - 7th place
INBF Southwestern Naturals - 3rd place
Fitness Lone Star - 1st place

True Figure Girl right here! If it weren't for her (and Dan), I wouldn't have this rockin' physique. I'm inspired by her desire to be the best (in every aspect of her life). She deserves a pro card ... someone PLEASE give her a PRO card! :)
Jason is the real deal. He's very passionate about health and wellness and loves to share his knowledge with others. Jason is my rock, my foundation for personal and spiritual growth. He has always inspired me to lead a healthy lifestyle ... even when it wasn't easy. He's helped me reach my fitness goals, keeps me motivated, has patience and understanding, and loves me unconditionally. *love you, babe*
We found out a week ago that we're having a baby! It took me 4 LONG months (after competition) to put on the much needed (but undesired) body fat to concieve our first child. I have to say I'm not as gross as I thought I would be. At around 20% I still have the athletic look. AND...
OH I'm so glad to hear that! I keep wanting to bug you to come but don't want to bother you. It means A LOT if you will be there. If I tank at prejudging, though, I'll tell you not to come. So plan on coming. (-; (trying to be confident)
Thanks, I appreciate that you accepted my friend invite. Continued success to you in accomplishing All your health and fitness goals. Take care and enjoy the rest of your day.
Have you tried Zyrtec (daily) for allergies? I started about seven years ago for my out of control allergies, and let me tell you: After two weeks of taking it, my allergies have been almost non-existent. I get a flare up about once every two months now, as opposed to daily....
Not much, just living the "rained-on often" lifestyle here in Southern AZ. While it keeps the dust down, it makes things grow big time...and yeah, therefore many more opportunities for allergens.
Thank you for the add. I hope you can drop me a line occasionally for encouragement and any ideas you have. I would like to be able to ask you for pointers and/or ideas to progress. If that is OK with you? I hope to be an encouragement to you also. Thanks again and stay strong.
