When I Started:
Dec, 2004
How I Started:
I competed in gymnastics and dance growing up. In college, I used the cardio machines to help me quit smoking and stay slender. In 2005, my husband (cani1) introduced me to weight lifting and proper nutrition.
I accidentally ran across this website in March. I glanced through some of the female profiles and instantly got the "I want to look like that" bug. I have been training hard to reach my goals ever since. No more "just maintaining" for me!
Why I Love It:
I love the way it makes me look and feel.
How I Stay Motivated:

Thanks for asking! It's going really well, I just have to keep telling myself it's okay to gain weight...it requires a whole different mindset than I'm use to. You're still looking fabulous!!
Thanks :) I'm a little off right now since I still have lower abdominal fat and a little in the obliques. I've been training like a mad man trying to eliminate it asap.
Have you been making sure to hit mostly compound exercises for your goal? That's always the fastest route to results :)
