How I Started:
I got tired of feeling like crap. I have lifted on and off since I was 14 but never got too serious. Last Summer I decided to transform my body -- at work they say I am having a "mid-life crisis" - I just laugh and tell them they need to have a crisis too :-)
Why I Love It:
I love the way it makes me feel and I love the results. When coworkers and friends who havent seen me in a while say "wow - what have you been doing?" it makes it all worth while!
How I Stay Motivated:
I visit bodybuilding.com and watch my old pumping iron video -- I also set many short term goals for myself like adding 5 LBs of muscle, losing body fat etc -- I am constantly challenging myself.

I dont like it unless they really look like they are struggling -- I think I do it sometimes but my ipod is on so I cant hear it

Merry Christmas.  Today I decided to start my cutting diet.  I read through Layne's article on contest prep and decided I can do this.  I am at 212 and body fat is somewhere between 13 and 17 % depending on how you measure it.  I need to get down to about 190 while maintaining muscle mass...

I am looking into getting surgery done. I have never taken care of all the issues losing weight left me with. I'm looking at doing it in another coutnry. What's Doc Allen's opinion?

I didn't know I was either! I'm taking my oldest for his 16th bday...and I better see some blood for this! I figured you were doing the same show. MD Family Day is on the 30th in New York at Bob Bonham's Gym...well...New Jersey I mean! Just a bunch of MD people...it's going to be SOOO much fun!

Hey Allen, a lot is going on. Lost my grandma, went on a cruise to the Caribbean with my mom, went to London and is going to Crete next Saturday. Quit my job, and is moving to FLA next month. I guess I needed to blow off some steam..lol.. Next com for me might be the Arnold Classic next yr. Decided to take this yr off. Are you still hanging in there?
