How I Started:
I've gained a lot of weight since high school and in the past I'd lose a little weight and then put it back on. So this year I decided to focus on working out consistently. Now that I've been working out consistently I decided to sign up for a half marathon and I plan on competing in the Spring of 2010 as well as doing the Iron Girl competition. I guess Im on a roll. LOL!
Why I Love It:
It makes me feel really good and it keeps me on a schedule.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by making excel spreadsheets of my progress statistics and motivational quotes as a visual aid. Im a very meticulous person so when I need to make lists of my workout moves, my schedule...basically everything. I also bought myself a polar monitor, boxing gloves and other things that will aid in my fitness goals. Everytime I reach a goal I get myself a fitness oriented gift. :o)
BB Accomplishments:
I've been working out consistently for 6 months! Since my heaviest I've lost about 25-30 pounds.

Goal (Long):
In 2002 I graduated in high school and became very inactive because there aren't many options for athletes after they graduate unless you play for a college. I was a cheerleader, dancer and I played soccer. So basically my freshman 15 turned into the freshman 50! Ooops! The beginning on 2009 my family and I decided that we all need to make a change so we set up our own Biggest Loser competition with the weigh-ins and everything. Our final weigh in is going to be on October 12th, 2009. Im not really sure whose going to win but we all have had amazing results. For my 25th birthday this year I registered myself for a half marathon that will take place the day before our final weigh-in. Im shocked how addicted I've gotten to healthy food and fitness. Now I eat a very clean organic diet with cheats that aren't really cheats (before a cheat would have been a family meal at Taco Bell-gross I know. LMAO!). I also subscribed to Oxygen Magazine and saw girls that compete in fitness competitions. With my dance and cheer background I thought "Hey maybe I can do that!" So I want to do the Fitness Atlantic Pagaent in 2010!! Woohoo!! I also will be participating in the Iron Girl Triathlon. So 2010 will be another year of accomplishments and challenges and I can't wait. I just plan on using the rest of 09 to prepare myself
Yeah things are really working out for me! I just got a call today that I got the job I wanted. WOOHOO! I usually dont do well in interviews but this one I felt really comfortable. Im so excited because I got laid off about 6 months ago. Maryland is doing really bad when it comes...
