How I Started:
I have actively worked out all my life. I love sports from chess (-yip-) to track! I ran hurdles in high school through college; my FIRST love! Being fit has always been high on my list of things to do. Therefore, I'm considering this time to be my resurrection. After my first little person I got back into shape quite quickly and I plan to accomplish that again after my second. Except, this time I want a goal, to compete!!--Coming in April 2009--

Why I Love It:
I love to keep my little people busy. I want to be one of those fit moms that can run on the field with their kids and teach them to live healthy and strong---Lead by example!
How I Stay Motivated:
I look at my family and what I mean to them...and what they mean to me!
All these beautiful women on BB who have the same passion and desire as I do.
Looking in the mirror at continued progress and the fire on my bum!
BB Accomplishments:
Finally able to complete an ab workout without pain or pulling! It's a wonderful feeling!
Lifting heavy after surgery without pain! No more holding back for me.
Oct. 19, 2008: 5 unassisted pull-ups! -had to stop due to stomach pains
Nov. 8, 2008: 3x8 unassisted pull-ups.
Nov. 14, 2008: Completed my first ab circuit, no pain just fatigue!

Goal (Long):
After my first little person, I looked better than I ever did as a collegiate athlete. With my second, I was blessed with a wonderful hernia. After surgrey I decided that my goal this time is to be even stronger and better than before. That seems to be the common theme in my workouts. I would also like to compete since it's something that I have always wanted to do. I admire strength mentally and physically and I love living it!!
We finally have a house in CA. As of next week, we will officially be California residents! Thankfully, the hard part is over. Now we'll be moving into a real house and out of a hotel :) My workouts have slowed to using my body weight and I'm going through iron withdrawal. Lifting is truly...
