I started working out at a gym after finally getting cleared by my doctors (after a long battle with E.D.) I was there so much they offered me a job, which I took. I started teaching classes and training, but only in the past year since meeting my fiance have I really gotten obsessed with weight training. My goals are finally not to be smaller, but to be stronger!
Why I Love It:
It makes me feel good about my body. In bodybuilding, the goal is for me to grow, not to be skinny, and that plays a huge role in me getting and staying healthy.
How I Stay Motivated:
My weight-lifting fiance, the way I feel when I finish a workout or wake up and see a little difference in my body because of a change in routine or diet.
BB Accomplishments:
None yet, but I want to do a light weight bodybuilding show in about a year- got to gain about 10-15 pounds of muscle first though!
SOOOO, I have been thinking about doing figure instead of bodybuilding, because I seem to have more of the genetics for that. But I have been getting really conflicting advice about the subject. The plan was to put on another good 6 lbs of muscle to fill out my shoulders and lats, and then...
You have up to this point built a very nice body and I look forward to watching you progress. Once you have decided between figure and bodybuilding you will be able to devote yourself 100% and really see the changes happen. I wish you much success.
