How I Started:
I've been an athlete as far back as memory allows. After organized sports ended I lagged, didn't like the direction my health was going so I decided I was going to sculpt my body into something much better than it was as a high school and college athlete.
Why I Love It:
I love the results, mental and physical. I love the control I have over my lifestyle now.
How I Stay Motivated:
MUSIC. Basketball. Visualization. Focusing on my potential. Keeping in mind my goals for progressing in wakeboarding always gets me going. Looking around on this site doesn't hurt either.

Starting back December 10th..until then it's heads down with the portfolio and getting freelance work done.
Goal (Long):
School is a never-ending stress, and one that has consistently broken my routine (and diet) for over a year now. Deadlines and 10 hour days downtown are my sorry excuse. In the short run, I'd like to just stick to my routine through December when I graduate, and if I can't work out my diet completely one day I need to not splurge while I take a meal off. My entire mindset needs to be different about this whole lifestyle. It's an on again off again relationship and I'm tired of feeling really accomplished, to feeling really lazy again. Come December I'm going to map out some really good new year resolutions, and finally have the time to make it happen.

Yes and no. Most often I'm met with an argument over 'being fat' which many confuse with my health goals. Do you track your workouts (exercises, weight, reps, etc.)?
Yes
If so, how do you do it? Workout log, software program, etc.? Why do you do it this way?
I just have a handy dandy little notebook that I carry around with me at the gym. It's always in my gym bag and it's never failed.

Yeah waiting for results can be frustrating as heck! I used to do a program called Bofy for Life and I busted ass, did ok, not great. But everyone kept saying "oh, wait until week 11, that's when you REALLY start to see the results." WEEK 11? Are you nuts... I want results NOW. If i'm going to BE this sore... I want something to show for it! lol eh?
Hey, how's the training going? I just started yesterday - I'm a bit sore... alright, a LOT sore - I think this will be good though!!! How are things on your end?
I'm with you on being impatient, but if the results came fast everyone would be training.
Right now I have put the training on hold, but I will get back to it in about 2 weeks I hope.
