Taken when i was working out consistently but not hard core. Started a new job new relationship and about 15 months later I weighed about 20 lbs more and had no definition and rolls of fat bulging everywhere. My boyfriend took a picture of me in a sports bra and shorts and i was shocked.. did...
So every year i say this year i will be the best shape of my life and i dont get there.. this year i can say i have done that.. little distressed that my legs are getting smaller though i am pushing as heavy as I can..but at the same time I am pretty much eating chicken and broccli and...
I have had luck with Box squat to add mas to my legs. It is a love hate thing. you feel great when you are doing them but the next day your leg seem like they are not attached to your body and avoid stairs at all cost but it works and best you don't have to use a lot of weight. Good for you knees
If I didn't have a Wife and 4 kids I would be an athletic trainer. I've had multiple personal training certifications. But when I went back to school to research the athletic training degree the travel schedule and starting rate of pay just didn't meet my families needs. I hope to own a few gyms one day and still feed my fix that way.
Yeah I'm probably at my desired body fat right now. So I'm going to lose 8 more pounds to allow me to up my calories and finally start lifting heavy again. I figure 25 pounds from then I will only have 10 - 15 pounds to lose instead of the 50 I had to lose doing it the other way!
You sound like the rest of us. Losing Fat vs. Gaining Muscle is a constant battle. I'm just tired of being in the middle. To small to be a big guy to fat to be a little guy. Thats why I've decided to get all this weight off and then gain it back lean. That way at least I'll be on one side trying to get to the next instead of straddeling the fence!!
You would be surprised the number of people who don't appreciate that.. :) You know what they say, the truth shall set you free.. Hope you are having a great week....
