When I Started:
Dec, 2007
How I Started:
I have always been a very active person since childhood, ie... soccer,BMX,skateboarding, running, baseball and tennis and a competitive road cyclist as a adult. Heart attacks and cancer are prominent on both sides of my family and I am going to do my best to betray them both and try to keep away from the middle aged weight gain and try to stay looking as young as I possibly can.
Why I Love It:
I love it even better now because no matter how much running or bicycling I do, I could never slow the fat accumulating at my midsection. I have lost 3 inches in my midsection since December and lost 3%BF since. Thats why I love lifting weights. It is also nice to be looked at by people around me and have them notice the changes.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by seeing my body lose inches but gain strength and muscle. I am starting to look leaner, and my kit is fitting much better now.

Goal (Long):
I want to gain size in my arms, chest and legs. I want the muscle to be visible and obvious without having to flex. I want to lose body wide fat and decrease the size of my waist. Overall, I just want to look good.
With having a unlimited amount of time on my hands and no excuse not to go to the gym, I should be able to meet these goals. Except for the fact that I have another 3 months in Iraq before I can eat a clean diet. I have a very limited type of food I can choose from here and it is filled with sodium, carbs and fat.
I am doing a 3 day a week "For Mass" workout that I saw on this website. So far it is helping me gain size. I did tweek it a little since I was told by a licensed Trainer to do the bench press prior to the military press.
1 day on, 1 day off for 3 days on total, with a complete...
