Overall Goal: I want to hit 180...Done...How about 185?
Fit Status:

New York, United States
Occupation:
Architect

Primary Gym:
College:
High School:
When I Started:
1990
How I Started:
Have always been interested in building a better body. I wasn't any kind of athlete in HS, so looked in college to start to transform my body.
Why I Love It:
It allows me to challenge myself. I like having a project to work on. This one seems to be a life long project.
How I Stay Motivated:
By looking at other 30 and 40 year old men who appear to be in a state of decay. Sorry boys this can't be me. I'm going the other way. I want to get better as I age. Why can't we look better at 50 than we did at 30?
BB Accomplishments:
Benched 225. After years in the gym and never making any significant gains, I now feel like my body is responding and I have the wisdom to do this right.
To continue to transform myself into something new and better. To keep getting better with age. I'm 43 and proud of the shape I'm in. My kids are still young. I need to be in shape to keep up with them as they get into skiing, baseball, soccer, etc. I want to be the parent running up and down the field with them, not just sitting on the sidelines. Its amazing how much kids just want to be with you and do what you are doing. What can be better than going out for little jog with your three year old daughter or skiing with the boys? Keep it up and watch them grow into healthy active teens and adults.
Weight Goal:
I want to GAIN 25 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
7%

How has bodybuilding and fitness helped you in your career?
I look better, I feel better, I perform better. People have a certain amount of respect for someone who is able to keep themselves in good shape. I believe this leads to opportunities in the workplace.I look better, I feel better, I perform better. Are you a parent?
Yes
How has bodybuilding and fitness helped you to be a better parent?
I can play with my kids instead of watching them. They want to do what they see, therefor they want to exercise with me. They are learning a healthy lifestyle that will be with them always.
Wow! Awesome job! Read a few comments from your friends, going to try the HITT thing myself, will probably improve my 13.1 time next year as well as strip some fat.
cut back on penut butter / bread / pasta / lasagna / drinking / and if u wana add a fat burner in to help assist i would reccoment firelean / or hydroxycut hardcore have been known for good results ... also do HITT Cardio ... Hard as u can 20-30 seconds then go light 50-60 seconds and go up and down like that newhere from 30-45 mins every other day
read ur comment in our group ... advice cuz i got off my cutz program not to long ago ... cut out all calories from DRINKS ... LIVE ON WATER u will be surprised at the cals u cut back from that alone ... have 1 whole meal a day where u completly fill up on vegetables ( any kind you like ) and have alot of chicken turkey tuna and fish
How is it going? Sorry it's been so long. Too busy with work right now but hopefully things will ease a little after Easter. How's that line you were telling me about?!
hey man--if I thought I could hide ten pounds I wouldn't be here.LOL. it's tough getting and maintaining def. i'm in a cutting phase and it's hard to ensure you're losing weight not muscle. keep at it brother!
Arms are growing. started at 14, tonight at 15.5!! I'm pleased with that. I'm hoping to add weight as well and not add fat but I'm a hard-gainer. with a big, busy family and work its all I can do to find time to eat. I'm pleased though but not satisfied. Stay at it because you are achieving your goals. CV
